AAND dues deadline just over a week away!

The deadline to apply for or renew your AAND membership is December 31. You may click the following link to download the AAND membership application/renewal formThis year, there are two ways to renew. To pay by check, please print the membership application (completing one application for each person joining or renewing) and mail the application(s) with your dues payment. To pay by credit card, log into your membership account here. Once on your profile page, select “Renew Membership Now” from the drop-down menu in the right corner of the page and follow the steps to pay via credit card. You can reference this video tutorial for a review of the process. If you have questions, please contact Paulette Williams or call 334-263-7594.

2024 ACCA Legislative Conference is less than a week away!

Each year, the ACCA Legislative Conference provides time for the membership to hear from policy leaders across the state, discuss anticipated legislative issues in the year ahead, and address important business to “re:solve” together. The complete program is now available for you to preview by clicking on the 2024 Legislative Resources tab on the County Family online community. County Family members who still need to finalize their plans to attend the December 11-12 Conference are encouraged to register now by referring to the Events/Education tab of the ACCA County Family online community. Don’t hesitate to contact the ACCA’s Events and Education Team with any questions.

 

 

2024 Legislative Conference: Breakout Agenda for 911

The 2024 ACCA Legislative Conference is excited to bring back breakout sessions for Commissioners and Affiliate Members. Breakout sessions at the ACCA Legislative Conference allow each affiliate to discuss critical legislative issues before the upcoming legislative session. The ACCA is thrilled to offer, again this year, a specialized breakout session for 911 Leaders. Your session will include the Latest Trends & Insights from 911 Audits, Surveying the Obstacles in Local Emergency Medical Services, Strengthening the Distribution Process for 911 Cost Recovery Funds, Altering the Structure of Alabama’s 911 Board, Building & Sustaining Relationships with State Lawmakers, and Partnering with Other Districts to Deliver 911 Services.
