The 2024 ACCA Legislative Conference is excited to bring back breakout sessions for Commissioners and Affiliate Members. Breakout sessions at the ACCA Legislative Conference allow each affiliate to discuss critical legislative issues before the upcoming legislative session. Please send your topic ideas as we finalize your breakout session agendas. County Family members are encouraged to register for the Conference by referring to the Events/Education tab of the ACCA County Family online community. County leaders asked to contact ACCA for any necessary Renaissance room cancellations

The Renaissance Montgomery Hotel -- the location for December's New Commissioner Orientation, AAEM Winter Workshop and ACCA Legislative Conference -- has been sold out of ACCA hotel rooms for weeks now, but our waiting list for rooms continues to grow. If you have a Renaissance room reservation and discover before these events that you no longer need your room, we ask that you kindly notify [email protected] to cancel your room reservation. Please do not contact the hotel. Canceling your room through the Association staff will ensure your room is provided to a fellow county leader -- and at the discounted rate.
AAND dues deadline is December 31

The deadline to apply for or renew your AAND membership is December 31. You may click the following link to download the AAND membership application/renewal form. This year, there are two ways to renew. To pay by check, please print the membership application (completing one application for each person joining or renewing) and mail the application(s) with your dues payment. To pay by credit card, log into your membership account here. Once on your profile page, select “Renew Membership Now” from the drop-down menu in the right corner of the page and follow the steps to pay via credit card. Class dates and registration links for next year's 2025 County Government Education Institute (CGEI) classes are now available on the County Family online community. Each class will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday and end at 3 p.m. on Thursday. To register, click the class you would like to take to be sent to the appropriate registration page or contact ACCA’s Events and Education Team. You can view the entire schedule here.
