Mark your calendars now! The dates and locations for the 2025 ACCA District Meetings have been set. These meetings will be held across the state to ensure all county leaders are well-prepared for the upcoming Legislative Session. Your active participation in these meetings is crucial for our success at the State House. Please make plans to attend the meeting that best fits your schedule.
- January 14 – Monroe County
- January 16 – Elmore County
- January 21 – Limestone County
- January 22 – St. Clair County
- January 28 – Tuscaloosa County
- January 30 – Pike County
AAEM Winter Workshop registration continues

Emergency Managers may continue to register for the 2024 AAEM Winter Workshop. Scheduled for Dec. 10-11 at the Renaissance Hotel in Montgomery, the Workshop will precede the ACCA's Annual Legislative Conference on Dec. 11-12 and allow attendees to dive into and discuss the latest issues relevant to emergency management in Alabama. County Family members can register for the Workshop, as well as book their discounted overnight accommodations, by referring to the Events/Education tab of the ACCA County Family online community.

Attention, County Family members! Registration continues for the Association’s annual Legislative Conference scheduled for Dec. 11-12 at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel. The Conference will feature discussions and decision-making regarding legislative issues facing counties during the 2025 session.
